Age of Sigmar: Stronghold Name Generator

I recently wrote about some of my hesitancy regarding the 3rd edition of Age of Sigmar and, though my position is (predictably) starting to soften, I still have some reservations. None of those reservations relate to Path to Glory - I love the new Path to Glory! I can’t wait to give it a go, and I may even report my experiences on this very website, possibly even in narrative format.
In fact, I’m so enthused by the new Path to Glory campaign rules that they’ve inspired me to do something creative right away. Thus, this stronghold name generator was born! If you don’t know, part of the new Path to Glory rules involve acquiring territory to bolster your growing army in various ways, and your very first territory is a stronghold - a secure location from which your army can muster, sally forth and regroup. There’s a space on your roster sheet for a stronghold name, so naturally that got me thinking, and here we are.
Naturally different factions are going to tend towards different types of stronghold. You’d expect a force of Stormcast Eternals to be sequestered in a pristine golden fortress, whereas the Kruleboyz are likely to be holed up somewhere more dingy and ramshackle. Clearly this stronghold name generator needs to take a different approach for each and every faction, and that’s exactly what I’m going to do. At the time of posting the generator includes options for Stormcast Eternals, Cities of Sigmar and Fyreslayers, but I plan to add the others in pretty short order, so keep checking back!
