Lest we forget, these are the souls of high elves from the World-That-Was, trapped inside the gut of Slaanesh for millennia before being freed and reshaped into new beings. Did these new beings set about recreating the safe, comfortable civilisation that Ulthuan that they (and we) all know and love? No! They built an all-new civilisation based around the production and consumption of mind-expanding crystals, with a side-order of cow worship. Like I said, there’s a lot going on.
