Like many of you, I’ve been waiting eagerly for Cubicle7’s Age of Sigmar roleplaying game, Soulbound. While the old Warhammer Fantasy world and the 41st millennium definitely have their charms, the Age of Sigmar setting is unique in being well developed enough to feel rich and lived-in, but not so developed that you feel constrained by existing lore. There’s a lot of blank space on the map, literally and figuratively, and it’s in these spaces that we can let our imaginations run wild.
It’s in this spirit that I introduce the first of many random generators I’m creating especially for Soulbound - an Order settlement generator for Aqshy, the Realm of Fire. Not only does this little gizmo generate a settlement name worthy of dedication to the God-King, it also generates a little background information to help give your settlements colour, and hopefully even inspire an exciting story hook for your games or your character’s backstory.
