Corpse Rat Deluge - Endless Spell Warscroll

Corpse Rat Deluge custom endless spell warscroll for use in Warhammer Age of Sigmar. As featured in the Cursed City novel.

At the moment I’m having a great time (slowly) painting up my Cursed City miniatures. As well as looking forward to playing the boxed game itself, I’m also looking forward to trying out the various characters and units in Warhammer Age of Sigmar. Most of the models have been given official warscrolls but, for some reason, there are some that haven’t - most notably corpse rats and bat swarms.

I wanted to find a way to give all the Cursed City miniatures a second life on the Age of Sigmar battlefield, and to that end I’ve created this custom warscroll. Giving the corpse rats a standard unit warscroll was clearly an option, but I wanted to do something a little bit different. In the Cursed City tie-in novel, corpse rats feature frequently as a force of nature that can be summoned by the amethyst wizard Morrvahl Olbrecht, but never truly controlled - what better way to represent that than with an endless spell?

In the game (as in the book) the Corpse Rat Deluge endless spell is intended to represent a desperate last resort that can be temporarily directed towards your enemies, but which might just as easily turn on your own units if they stray too close. I hope it will add a dramatic new dimension to your narrative games in the cursed city of Ulfenkarn!
