The Deathrattle subfaction has taken something of a back seat in Warhammer Age of Sigmar in recent times, what with the introduction of their fancy-pants Ossiarch kin. Hulking bone-constructs are great and all, but for me there’ll always be something darkly alluring about the tragedy of a long-dead individual, perhaps only dimly aware of their past life, being dragged from the cold earth to serve for all eternity as a reanimated skeleton.
The Deathrattle hordes and their Wight King champions are alive (inaccurate) and well (also inaccurate) in the Legions of Nagash (and latterly Soulblight Gravelords), and so it seems only fitting to honour these unsung heroes of Death with their own character name generator. Wight Kings can be fascinating, deep and complex characters, boasting storied histories even before the cold hand of death came to claim them. They have so much storytelling potential both on and off the tabletop, and I hope this name generator does them justice.
